Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: August 26, 2026

Quick summary. The identified host is the event seller and provider. Don't Bail does not offer discretionary refunds or decide event-quality disputes. A guest changing their mind, leaving, being removed, or missing the event does not automatically receive a refund. If the host cancels through Don't Bail, we initiate a full refund. Technical, provider-forced, and legally required reversals also remain supported.

1. Scope

This policy applies to one-time registration, entry, and participation fees paid for events through Don't Bail. Don't Bail is operated by Lineup Labs (OPC) Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our").

The host is the seller and provider of the event. Don't Bail operates the marketplace and payment workflow and may collect attendee payments on the host's behalf. The host identity, price split, and applicable policy are shown before payment. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

2. Cancellation by an Attendee

Don't Bail does not provide an attendee change-of-mind cancellation or discretionary refund workflow. If you cannot attend, leave the event, are removed, are banned, arrive late, or do not attend, no refund is automatically due. Contact the identified host about any event-specific request. The host—not Don't Bail—decides whether to resolve a discretionary event-related request, subject always to applicable law.

3. Cancellation or Material Change by the Host

If the host cancels the event through Don't Bail, Don't Bail will initiate a full refund of the recorded guest payment, including the Don't Bail fee. The refund is returned through the original payment route.

Questions about a postponement, venue change, weather, force majeure, host non-appearance, or an event differing from its listing must first be raised with the identified host. Don't Bail does not independently adjudicate those underlying event disputes, but may process a reversal that the host authorizes or applicable law requires.

4. Duplicate, Incorrect, or Failed Payments

Duplicate successful charges and incorrect payment amounts will be corrected after verification. If a captured payment arrives after its short inventory hold expired and capacity is no longer available, Don't Bail will initiate a technical reversal rather than oversell the event. If a payment fails but your account is debited, the bank or payment provider will normally reverse it automatically. Contact us if the amount has not been returned within 7 business days.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

For an event-service complaint or discretionary request, contact the host shown on your checkout or payment confirmation. For a duplicate charge, failed-payment debit, host cancellation, technical reversal, provider reversal, or legal complaint, email admin@uselineup.app with:

We will acknowledge a platform/payment complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month, or sooner where applicable law requires. We may request information needed to locate the payment and may refer an underlying event-service dispute to the host.

6. Refund Method and Timing

Refunds and reversals are sent to the original payment method. After initiation, receipt timing is controlled by the bank and payment provider and commonly takes 5-10 business days. We cannot redirect a refund to a different bank account, UPI ID, card, or payment method.

7. Exceptions

Don't Bail may reject a request that asks it to make a discretionary event-quality decision, is fraudulent or abusive, or cannot be matched to a payment. This does not affect a host-authorized resolution, a correction for a duplicate or incorrect charge, a provider or bank reversal, a chargeback, a technical capacity reversal, or a refund required by law.
